THE COOKIE DOUGH SALE HAS BEGUN!

 I am excited to see that sale finally begin--and I'm hopeful for the results! Last year, this sale was a big one for the PTO, but this year we had to delay it until after the holidays.  I am hoping people really want to make fresh cookies for their sweeties for Valentine's Day!

The new schedule at the school seems successful!  I look forward to hearing what the kids are learning from their new teachers in their new schedules!

A New Era Begins

A new season begins in Kachina.  This week marks a significant change at the school with the combination of the 7th graders with the 6th and 8th graders.  I am trepidatious about the changes!  Let's see what happens next.

The PTO is having a meeting this week--Wednesday, January 14--I hope we have a lot of people come to talk about these changes and what they mean for the students and the school.

Happy New Year!  Welcome back everyone!

I hope you had a great break, but I also hope you are eager to get back to school!  We have a lot of exciting things coming in the new year--especially the cookie dough sale--so be sure to check the web site often and look for our newsletter!

Fall Food Drive Complete!

Wow!  The final tally is in from the Fall Food Drive, and Kachina donated 1,000 pounds!  How exciting!  The food is so appreciated, of course.  The Second Grade class was the big winners, but the Fourth and Sixth grade classes gave them a run for their money. 

Good work everyone!  I am so proud of you all, and thank you.

We're getting everything running--finally--this year!  I am really excited to have the webpage up and running!  And Monica is working so hard on the newsletter!

The Cookie Dough sale begins January 20!  Yeah!  I would love to have everyone in the school buy two tubs of cookie dough for Valentine's Day!  We'd have a sweet year!

Speaking of sweet--the Krispy Kreme donut certificates will be on sale soon too!  What a great way to support the Kachina PTO and been the hero of the lunch room at the same time!
